Winterfest 2024 December 7th 9am-3pm

The Winterfest Arts and Crafts Bazaar is held annually on the first Saturday of December at Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Derby, Kansas. We began hosting the Bazaar in 1999 and have accommodated 90 to 100 vendors each year since then. Each year the money raised through booth rentals, food sales and our silent auction is used to support missions both locally and nationally.

Vendor Information

-Booth Rental is $55 (non-refundable) and is assigned as deposit (half of full payment) or full payment is received. Please make checks payable to Woodlawn United Methodist Church (WUMC)

-At no time will any person associated with Winterfest ask for payment via email, social media, or any third-party apps. Any person asking for payment personally is attempting to scam. All payments will be made to the church office and any questions about payment or booth availability can be made to the church office as well.

-Electricity is available at no charge. Please indicate your preference on the registration form.

-Booths have a minimum of 80 square feet of space and rental includes up to 2 chairs but does NOT include a table.

-A limited number of tables are available for rent at $10 each or you may provide your own. The rental table size is 6ft x 2.5 ft.

-Set-up is on Friday prior to the Saturday event or in the morning before the event’s opening.

-Show hours are from 9:00am to 3:00pm

-We ask that you please leave your displays up until 3:00pm

-No objects can be affixed to the walls of the facility.

We must comply with all State and local sales tax regulations. This includes providing the Kansas Dept. of Revenue with TAX I.D. #’s for all vendors prior to the event. Please provide your TAX I.D. # in the space provided on the registration form.

Additional Event Details

Bake Sale

Included with the crafts show will be a bake sale sponsored by the Woodlawn United Methodist Church.  These items will be sold in a separate booth and available for you to purchase.

Diane’s Diner

Breakfast fare will be available for purchase Saturday morning starting at 7:00am.  Coffee will be provided free upon request to all vendors the entire day.  Our diner is open to the public and has soups, sandwiches and more available for purchase from 11:00am to 2:00pm.  Vendors are welcome to visit our Café for a delicious lunch. Hospitality can provide someone to “sit” in your booth if you need a short break or want to grab lunch at our diner.

Silent Auction

Items in the Silent Auction vary from small hand-made items to quilts and themed baskets.  Each vendor is asked to donate an item for the Silent Auction. Donations should include a business card or otherwise indicate where donation is from. Items will be collected during set-up on Friday and Saturday.

Advertising

We publicize the dates and show times on social media sites and at various public locations. We also submit information to local on-line Community Calendars.

Wide Variety of Vendor Spacing

Most of our booths are 8’x10’, some 9’x9’, some irregular shaped but with a minimum of 80 square feet.  We will provide you with up to 2 padded chairs for your comfort – please specify number required on registration form.  Tables are available to rent for $10 each.
