Serve Summer!
June 1 - July 31
The Missions Team believes that last year’s Serve Sunday was such a success that this summer, during June & July, we can make an even greater impact together! Throughout the summer, everyone is encouraged to log their hours of service — whether through church ministries, community organizations like Meals on Wheels, or other opportunities to serve others. Starting June 1st, our goal is to reach 5,000 total hours served by the end of July!
If you are part of a church mission or community organization that could use volunteers, please contact the church office so we can help connect people with opportunities to serve. Please provide specific information, such as how many people you need, and the dates and times people can serve.
Next week, we will share a link where you can log your service hours online. Paper logs will also be available in the church office beginning next Sunday for anyone who prefers to track their hours manually. There are links and opportunities to serve, listed below, but you must track your own time.
Looking for a way to help from home? We are always in need of homemade cookies for our Sunday morning Coffee & Fellowship window! If you would like to volunteer at the Woodlawn Thrift Shop, please contact Ginger Blake. You can call the church office for her contact information.

Did you know that 65 children have already registered to attend Woodlawn’s VBS? We are still needing major roles filled, such as: science station leader, music station leader, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th& 5th leaders filled! Please consider volunteering this summer with us! We have MANY community families registered who are not members or attenders of Woodlawn, and I would love for our congregation to come together and show our community how welcoming and loving we are! Many other spots are open as well. Please take a look at the volunteer sheet!

Don’t forget to keep a log of your volunteer hours! Our goal as a church for June & July is 5,000 hours. We will not be logging time as groups or from sign-up sheets, so you will be responsible for logging your time. We have paper log sheets in the office that you can use, or you can use this link:
