Ash Wednesday: Pancake Feed & Service

Join Woodlawn UMC for an evening of intergenerational fun & reflection as we enter into the Lenten season~

Our Ash Wednesday activities include a Pancake Feed served in the Worship Center from 5:30 – 6:30 PM, with all your favorite Woodlawn fixings: pancakes AND sausage!

Our Ash Wednesday service will be held in the Sanctuary at 7 PM, led by Pastor Kim and involving our Youth Ministry.

Between the meal and the service, we’ve got plenty for you to do in the Narthex as well! We’ll have representatives from our Healthy Congregations team present to help you sign up for our Move with Christ Lenten Challenge (as well as answer any questions you may have about it). We will also be kicking off a new ministry called Church Family Connections (CFC) on this very special holiday. Our CFC Activity for Ash Wednesday will be collaborating with our children, youth, & adults on a huge Jesus poster that, once finished, will be hung up for the church to enjoy on Easter!
