Youth Tulsa Mission Trip

Our youth are taking another mission trip this summer, and they’re heading down south to Tulsa, OK! From June 24-28, our youth will be staying at Boston Ave UMC in Tulsa and working with ministries such as John 3:16 Ministries, Restore Hope, and the Tulsa Day Center: organizations that help people experiencing homelessness, poverty, and hardship. They will also have the opportunity to learn a bit about Tulsa’s history and the Tulsa Race Massacre that happened in 1921. We’ve also got some fun planned, with trips to the Gathering Place (a park the size of a small neighborhood) and Tulsa’s Paradise Beach Waterpark! Youth Director Karis Brown is still laying out plans, as they are planning this mission trip from scratch (without the help of a mission trip company like last year), so a price-per-student is not yet available.
