Woodlawn on Wednesdays (WOW): Blessing of the Animals!

Join the children, youth, and adults of Woodlawn in celebrating St. Francis of Assisi’s birthday by bringing your pets, of all shapes & species & sizes, for a special blessing & activities out by our crosses!
The children will be handing out free homemade dog treats, we’ll have free nail trimming available by a certified dog groomer, and we’ll also have the animals & leaders of the non-profits Save the Kitties and Wichita Pug Rescue present as well.
Additionally, we’ll have a fall photo booth, yard games, and multiple crafts (like customizable collar tags) available for you to enjoy!
We ask that you please bring your animals on a leash or in a kennel for this event.
For those who may not be able to stand for the duration of the event, please bring a lawn chair to lounge on.
