Serving residents of the USD 260 school district. Located at 4900 South Clifton, in Oaklawn. Services include: The Food Pantry; The Good Samaritan Fund, offering rent and utility assistance; and Snack Packs for children at risk of not having food in their homes over the weekend.

Kairos Prison Ministry
The mission of Kairos Ministries is to bring Christ’s love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families, and those who work with them, and to assist in the transition to productive citizenship. Events are held at the Hutchinson and El Dorado facilities.

Lords diner
The Lord’s Diner is a not-for-profit entity dedicated to improving the health of the community by offering anyone in need a hot meal, no questions asked. A food handler's card is required.

It’s the little things we do that collectively add up in the long run to benefit the world around us. Here are a few current ways to chip in for the good of the church and the community at large.

United Methodist Open Door Drop-in Center
The UM Open door Drop-In Center is open to homeless adults in need of a meal, a place to shower and do laundry, and to receive mail and telephone messages about potential job opportunities. Once a month, Woodlawn prepares and serves a meal to these needy men and women.

Operation Back-to-School
Operation Back-to-School provides backpacks and school supplies to needy children in the USD 260 school district. You can help collect supplies and assemble the backpacks.

Operation Holiday
This community wide mission provides indivuduals and families in need with non-perishable food items, grocery vouchers for turkeys and perishable items, and toys for ages infant through 14. Hundreds of volunteers are needed each year to serve during the holiday season.

Overseas Care Packages
This mission supports military men and women who have been deployed overseas. Early each month, each troop on our list receives a care package filled with homemade cookies, miscellaneous snacks and/or personal care items. If you know someone deployed that needs a touch home, please let us know.

Ramp Ministry
The Ramp Ministry custom-builds wheelchair ramps for people with temporary or permanent disabilities who have trouble going in and out of their homes.

Volunteers in Mission [VIM]
VIM’s primary purpose is to radiate the love of Jesus Christ. Volunteers go to numerous locations in Kansas, the United States and around the world to build or repair churches, homes, camps, fresh water facilities, and many other projects. For more information, visit the Kansas West Conference webs

Winterfest
Winterfest is a craft show held in December at Woodlawn United Methodist Church. The profits go to support the various missions of our church. You can help set up booth spaces, staff the kitchen, support the vendors and clean up afterward.

Woodlawn’s Thrift Shop
The Thrift Store is located at 103 N. Baltimore, corner of K-15 and Washington. Anyone can purchase good quality clothes for all ages, plus other small household items and toys. Profits are contributed to various community programs such as Operation Holiday and Operation Back-to-School.
