United Methodist Women (UMW) is an organization formed over 135 years ago by a group of women belonging to the Methodist Church in Boston, MA. Their purpose is “to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”

All women of the church are invited to join one of these Woodlawn UMW Circles for devotions, a program, and fellowship (and maybe a little dessert too).

Afternoon Circle - meets the second Thursday afternoon of each month
Celebration Circle - meets the first Thursday evening of each month
Joy Circle - meets the third Tuesday evening of each month
Morning Circle - meets the third Tuesday morning of each month
Saturday Morning Girls Circle - meets the third Saturday morning of each month. This circle is designed for the spiritual and social needs of young mothers.  Nursery is provided. 
Sunshine Circle - meets the second Monday of each month
