Middle School Youth

Middle school youth LEAD camp  at Camp Horizon (C501) is June 11-15.

Sunday School (Grades 6 - 12)
Begins at 11:00 a.m. following the 9:45 service.
We meet in Fellowship Hall at the opposite end of the kitchen.

Youth Fellowship (MSYF) (6th, 7th and 8th grades)
Meets in Fellowship Hall on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Every week something special happens on Wednesday nights at Woodlawn UMC. At 6:30 p.m. fellowship hall is transformed into a middle school wonderland. We have time to hangout with one another which usually includes table games, four square, 21tip-in/knock out, and just time to talk with friends. This hangout time is followed by a lesson which is usually part of a larger series that includes practical ways for youth to be Christ-like in today's culture. Following the lesson we share our good times and bad times of the last week with one another before partaking in a snack. We wrap up the evening with a fun game and the Mosaic Blessing taken from Numbers 6:24-26.

Small Groups

All Middle school girls are invited to – FaithGirlz Club!! Come join the fun every Sunday evening from 6:45–8:30 p.m.

The purpose of FaithGirlz Club is to show girls that they are children of God and that he has a perfect plan for their lives when they walk with him. By encouraging girls to be who God created them to be, resist putting others down, talk to Jesus about everything, and be loyal to friends. Faithgirlz Club strengthens girls to overcome challenges with God’s help. Each week, girls will participate in a devotion/bible study time and a craft or baking activity. They will be encouraged to journal their thoughts on each topic as well as to memorize a scripture verse. At the end of each meeting, girls will be challenged to think about how they can serve others in the upcoming week.
