High School Youth

High school youth LDW camp  at Camp Horizon (C502) is July 23-27.

Sunday School (Grades 6 - 12)
Begins at 11:00 a.m. following the 9:45 service.
We meet in Fellowship Hall at the opposite end of the kitchen.

Youth Fellowship (HSYF) (grades 9-12)
Meets in Fellowship Hall on SUNDAY NIGHTS from 7:00-8:30 p.m.

     As we begin gathering we share in one another's lives catching up, playing spontaneous silly games, or watching youtube videos. We then have a short lesson, often linked to the sermon content of that week. Finally we wrap up with a fun activity. This activity could be a craft of some sort to exercise our creative side, a stimulating game to satisfy our active side, or a service project to nurture our caring side. Once a month we try to do something different to help us culturally. This could be a visit to a different tradition of faith or simply a drive into Wichita to Mead's Corner.

Small Groups

The HS Boys small group meets Monday mornings 8:00-8:40 a.m. at the McDonalds on Rock Road. This is an actual Bible study so students should bring their Bible and a few dollars to buy breakfast. This group will be made of only High School boys with Daniel guiding them.

Our HS Girls small groups have a Sunday or Monday night option. Sunday's group meets at the church after youth group. Monday night meets 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the homes of it's members, rotating locations.  The HS Girls is a girls only group that is led by HS Girls for HS Girls.
