Moms Day Out

Mom's Day Out (MDO)

Mom's Day Out (MDO) ministers to parents and caregivers of young children within our community. The program provides five hours of supervised play and craft activities for children, while their caregivers run errands or take a break. MDO is located at Woodlawn UMC in Derby and meets on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. September-May for children ages six weeks through pre-kindergarten.

Throughout the year, MDO staff and teachers provide many “Special Events” for the children. Some of these include:
· Fire Safety – fire truck pictures & visit w/firemen
· Halloween Treats
· Christmas – visit from Santa w/pictures and treats
· Valentine’s Day Treats
· St. Patrick’s Day – follow the rainbow to find the leprechaun
· Easter – egg hunt
· Last Day of MDO – ice cream treats

Traditional Worship Service - 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Contemporary Worship Service - 9:45 a.m.
Church Anew Casual Worship - 5:30 p.m.

Woodlawn UMC is wheelchair accessible. Assistive devices for the hearing impaired also available.
